Yes, the Mountain almost won!
In this video blog, I share a harrowing true story of a recent hiking trip to Sedona, AZ that almost ended in an unfortunate way for me.
The fall, the emotions, the inner critic whisperings, the pain, and more.
And upon review a few weeks later, there's a gift of learning, reflection, and self-discovery in every experience. I share those too so hang onto your hiking poles and follow along my friend!
You can hear and see my 21-minute video story here:

After my video story, come on back and enjoy these powerful journal prompts, or better yet, write them down now to reflect on after the video:
1. Can you recall an experience that started with a struggle that seemed like an impossible mountain climb at the time?
2. What inner critic whisperings came up for you during that time?
3. How did you handle these whisperings? Were they reflecting the your truth or were they based on fears and beliefs you had formed in some other time? Dive a bit into this in your journaling.
4. What emotions came up for you at the time?
5. What were the gifts and/or lessons you took away from conquering your mountain journey?
Always remember that your inner critic whisperings never reflect the truth of who you are. These whisperings often come from past experiences, beliefs formed in childhood or from authority figures in your life, and they can be healed and rescripted.
I want to leave you with these truths today, my friend.
You are worthy and enough.
You are stronger than you think.
You are braver than you feel.
Allow yourself grace, compassion, and kindness.
It's okay to say 'NO", to start over, and to try again.
You're doing the best you can.
You are capable of amazing things.
You're right where you are supposed to be my friend.
Sending out Light to you today. Thank you for sharing this space with me.
Karen
