What to consider before submitting a copyright complaint

Please note that if you are unsure whether the material you are reporting is in fact infringing, you may wish to contact an attorney before filing a notification with us.

The DMCA requires you to provide your personal information in the copyright infringement notification. If you are concerned about the privacy of your personal information, you may wish to hire an agent to report infringing material for you.

All such Notifications must comply with the DMCA requirements. You may refer to a DMCA takedown notice generator or other similar services to avoid making mistake and ensure compliance of your Notification.

General Coaching Programs and Packages Considerations - Effective January 1, 2023

Out of integrity and transparency for our Coach/Client relationship, a specific “Coaching Agreement” is created for each program/package including coaching services to cover the program/package details, costs, and payment plans (if offered) included within the sales/information page for each product or program purchased by the Client.

This Agreement outlines the responsibilities and expectations of both the Coach and the Client, how coaching sessions will be structured and handled, and also the expectations surrounding rescheduling, canceled, or missed sessions.

Program/package offerings are extended only after a Discovery Call, Breakthrough Session, Special Offering, or other correspondence or meeting between the Coach and new Client takes place.  Once the Coach determines whether and which program/package appears to be a good fit for both parties, the Coach may or may not extend an offer of a program/package for coaching services to the client.  If offered or invited to work with the Coach, the Client has the opportunity to review, ask questions, and to purchase or decline the program/package invitation or offering.

After purchasing a program/package for client services, the client will receive a link to the specific Coaching Agreement to review and sign electronically.  A welcome and orientation call or first session call, as appropriate to the program/package, is then scheduled to discuss any questions or concerns the Client may have about the program/package purchased.

The program/package will begin once the full payment or first payment (if monthly payments are offered) AND the appropriate Coaching Agreement is signed electronically or physically by the Client.  At that point, the welcome and orientation call or first session call may be scheduled.

For other product offerings, events, workshops, e-learning, video programs, challenges, or other types of non-coaching services such as these, a Coaching Agreement is not generally necessary nor included.  All details will be contained within the corresponding sales/information page on the Website.

General Sales Purchase Policy - Effective January 1, 2023

Karen Shier and her affiliated websites may periodically offer special pricing and program rates at various times throughout the year.  Similarly, there may be special promotions, coupons, or discounts offered at specific times.

We are committed to keeping with our policy that products and program prices, sales, special discounts, free trials, promotions, coupons, discount codes, etc. are valid only for the dates and deadlines upon which they are offered.  This means that in order to remain in integrity and service to all of our clients consistently and fairly, we do not make exceptions to these policies as it would not be fair to do so.  Additionally, any special offers such as these will not be applied to previous or future purchases.

Privacy Policy - Effective November 1, 2021

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide (“Personal Information”) on the karenshiercoaching.com website (“Website”or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that Personal Information. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this agreement, in which case the terms “User”, “you”or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this agreement, you must not accept this agreement and may not access and use the Website and Services.
